HISTORY OF NAGORNO-KARABAKH FROM PETRA TO PAVLA
The book “The Karabakh Saga” is the next volume of the “Returned History” series, dedicated to the deliberately “forgotten” key events of the 18th century in Transcaucasia, during the reign of the All-Russian emperors — from Peter I to Paul I. The narrative is oriented both to a wide range of readers and to historians, archivists, political scientists and other specialists who want to get acquainted with the documentary base of the origin of the Karabakh conflict, which arose during the first attempts of Russia to penetrate into the Transcaucasus. Familiarization with the primary documents stored in Russian archives, funds and libraries will make it possible to correctly evaluate the publications of those “Caucasian scholars” who for a long time deliberately or unknowingly distorted and continue to distort the historical outline of this process.
